SOWING
Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce.
So your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.
(Proverbs 3:9-10)
WHY WE SHOULD SOW
As we give, so shall we receive. This is what happens to the farmer. He who plants only one plant will receive less fruit than he who plants 100. It's logical! He who plants more will reap more. This is a principle that applies to many aspects of life. For example, the friendliest person has the most friends.
The same thing happens with our offerings and with giving. If we give a lot and joyfully share what God has provided for us, we will receive blessings in return. This doesn't mean we'll all be rich, but it does mean that if we give generously and joyfully, we will receive many blessings. God's blessings come in many forms: let us be attentive and sensitive to His movement at all times.
